On the Centennial Celebration of the scientific discovery of Machu Picchu, the Lima Tours Foundation and a select group of visual artists, set out to create a unique space for photography exhibitions in the village of Aguas Calientes, where residents and visitors could enjoy unrevealed images of cultural wealth and natural wonder of the Inca Sanctuary and its surrounding forest.

The result of this bold proposal is a new and one-of-a-kind gallery, called Machu Pictures - Inspiring Views of The Sanctuary, located at Café Inkaterra, whose leaders welcomed this initiative with the respect for the Sanctuary that characterizes them.

Works included in this first exhibition are all unpublished; they reveal the scenery of half a century ago, the perfect stone design of the Citadel, the flora and fauna of the park, and the abstract and spiritual energy of the Inca Site. Some of them transformed by the lens and the artist's talent.
